The 70km starts exactly where the 170km does, on Eko Atlantic Boulevard, shortly after that event's final riders have set off. The route crosses Victoria Island and takes in the Lekki–Ikoyi Link Bridge — short and steep, but soon a fast, fun ride down to the coastal road.
At the Lekki halfway point the 70km riders make their turn — the 170km field will have carried straight on — and come back along the shoreline with the breakers of the Atlantic for company, all the way downhill to the finish chute on the marina. Cut-off: 5 hours.

Don't leave home without…
Once you've crossed the finish line
Keep moving, grab your water, collect your medal, and enjoy everything the finish festival on the Atlantic marina has to offer — music, food, and the hospitality village.
Secure bike park
A marshalled bike park operates beside the finish village. Your number board must remain cable-tied to your handlebars so you can check your bike in and out.
